Wedding day stories are best told in natural light and candid moments.
From the day we connect to the first months of your marriage, I love celebrating this milestone with you and helping you remember every moment, just as it felt.
One of the best parts of my job is doing the hard work of making your wedding experience feel effortless.
If you know me, you know that organization and preparation is my jam!
We’re in touch all the way up to your wedding day, going over details and planning for your best wedding day experience.
We’ll create a wedding day timeline together, talk about rain plans, discuss family portrait lists and go over the important moments.
Every couple is different, so I like to get to know you and hear from you what moments and details are especially important to you.
Enjoying an easy breezy stress-free joyfilled wedding day means having the right peeps behind the scenes helping everything go smoothly while you enjoy the ride!
I’m with you from start to finish, making sure we stay on track and get where we need to be on time.
In moments that call for direction, I’m your take-charge photographer. For everything else, I’m all about staying out of the way and letting those big moments unfold naturally.
Nothing tells the story of your real relationship better than those candid, in between moments that you share on your wedding day, so I love doing a mix of candid fun and romantic portraits while we’re together.
I’m a firm believer that you should own your wedding photos and be able to do what you want with them. When your gallery is delivered, you’ll be able to share, download and print to your heart’s content.
To highlight the natural beauty and romance of your wedding day, all your wedding photos are lovingly hand-edited and corrected by yours truly before they hit your inbox.
When you’re ready to make your wedding portraits part of your home, I love working with you on creating heirloom albums and prints for you and your family.
If you’re nervous about looking awkward in your wedding pictures,
engagement sessions are perfect!
We’ll plan your session together and spend some time hanging out. You’ll come
away with gorgeous portraits of the two of you AND a newfound confidence.
I LOVE getting to know the two of you before the wedding day, so I always
encourage my couples to set up a session with me for their engagement!
Because I do so many of them and my calendar books up so fast, I only
offer engagement sessions to current Petal & Glass brides and grooms.
1. Do I own the photos?
Yes! Your wedding photos are YOURS. When your photos are delivered to you, you receive the high resolution images as well as the print release. You're allowed to share, download, print and post your photos as much as you want.
2. How are the photos delivered/how many are delivered?
You receive your wedding gallery online! You can visit and revisit your gallery and share the gallery link with your friends and family. You'll receive around 700-900 images depending on the schedule of the day and number of photographers.
3. Do I need a second photographer?
It depends! For some couples, I strongly recommend hiring one, for others, not so much! At the end of the day, it's always going to be your decision, but I'd love to hear more about your wedding day and what you're looking for so I can give you a recommendation.
4. How much time do I need?
For almost everyone, 8 hours will be a perfect amount of time. 8 hours usually covers getting ready photos through until about 2-3 hours into the reception. People who want more hours typically have an extended timeline that includes a long ceremony or mass and a lot of travel time in between places, or people who want coverage until the very end of the night.
5. How much do you charge for wedding photography?
Full 8 Hour wedding coverage starts at $2850. Special consideration is given to destination or small, intimate wedding days.
6. Do you offer engagement sessions?
I do! All of my packages include engagement sessions because I love getting to know my couples ahead of time. Because they're complimentary (and because I really just want to get to know you!), I do not offer discounted packages if you wish to not have one done.
7. Do you charge sales tax?
Yes! Sales tax is built into the pricing of my packages, so the price you see is the final price.
8. Do you charge travel fees?
For weddings within 2 hours of me, I do not charge travel fees. For engagement sessions, depending on the type of engagement session and the distance, travel fees may apply. For Simple Engagement sessions, they must be scheduled within 30 minutes of Franklinville, NJ, for Classic Engagements, they must be scheduled within an hour or so of Franklinville for travel fees not to apply.
